California Hospices: Required Topics for Management CEUs!

The new CDPH Emergency Hospice regulations are very specific about what must be covered in the 12 hours of ongoing annual education for our "management team" (including Administrators, DPCS, Medical Directors, and all of their designees). Here's the "at minimum" list (see below). The first six are reviews of your agency's P&P, and the last six cover actual patient care and operations.

Be sure you are covering all of these topics! You can do them one hour per month, or all at once, on a rolling calendar year. That year started on June 22, 2026 for your existing team, and starts upon date of hire for any new team members!
